Al Ain Zoo has launched a number of educational tours for all school kids in connection with the UAE’s back-to-school season, employing unique instructional tactics in a variety of programs and activities.
Virtual educational tours using the Microsoft Teams platform, where students will participate in video chats with the educational officers, are among the zoo’s products designed expressly to supplement the curriculum for different school levels.
The programs feature a guided virtual tour of the zoo and the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre, where guests may experience the five interactive displays and the world’s biggest man-made safari.
Teachers can also organize their own tours, where they will be in charge of arranging and organizing informative trips for pupils at the zoo.
Innovative learning programs geared for children from early childhood through high school are also available. These are accessible in both Arabic and English and include instructional tools that will assist add value to the curriculum, so increasing students’ knowledge and learning capacity.
Al Ain Zoo also provides an environmental research service to all students, as well as aiding researchers and coordinating trips to the research center at the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre.
