Qatar has announced that 13 airlines would commence operations at Doha International Airport. The services will be available this year from September 15 to December 30 according to the official website of Hamad International Airport.

Prior to the Fifa World Cup 2022, which is anticipated to bring more than a million tourists, Qatar was announced to reopen Doha International Airport.

Since being partially supplanted by the neighboring Hamad International Airport in 2014, the Doha airport has remained in semi-retirement.

Here is a list of all 13 airlines, three of which are from the United Arab Emirates: Etihad Airways, Flydubai, and Air Arabia.

The airport’s terminals for arrivals and departures can each accommodate 2,000 departing passengers per hour. There are 22 boarding gates, 52 departure and arrival immigration counters, and 83 check-in desks.

The majority of the Fifa World Cup venues are 30 minutes away from the airport, which is 15 minutes from the city’s center.
